Dalilah Lattif

Special Education Teacher Assistant

Dalilah graduated from National Institute of Education with Diploma in Special Education and Diploma in Dyslexia Studies. She was first interested in special education after working with adults with special needs in a voluntary welfare organization. She went on to pursue the role as an Allied Educator for Learning and Behavioral Support in a primary school. She has been with Ministry of Education (MOE) for 4 years before working in a private early intervention program for another 6 years.

In all of her experiences in both government schools and private settings, she has been exposed to activity based and play based interventions. She understands that not one size fits all when it comes to working with children with special needs. She believes in building rapport and trust first before any learning can take place.
